A250 Sound Setup
If you are not getting any sounds from the speaker but have an OK on the LED screen then try this:
Try changing the audio device for Windows
- Open Control Panel
- Click on the Sounds and Audio Device icon
- Click the Audio tab at the top
Change the Playback device to one of these (whatever’s available to you):
- Saitek Wireless 2.1 speakers
- CSR Headphones
- USB Audio
A-250 Speakers and System Speakers
The A-250 speakers will take over the sound by default, this is the same for all USB audio devices and you can’t have the USB speakers and the 3.5mm jack input System speakers playing the same song from the same player.
You can sort of get round this by having the system speakers as the Window’s default ones by going to the Control Panel
- Open the Sounds and Audio Device icon (in the Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices Category)
- Click the Audio tab at the top
- Then change the Playback device to the default system speakers (i.e. the mother board or any sound card you have installed) you can always change it back to the USB Audio or CSR Headphones option or Saitek Wireless 2.1 speakers (whatever’s available to you).
To play music through the A-250 Wireless speakers:
- Go to Windows Media Player
- Then go to Tools
- Then Options
- Then Devices
- Click on the Speakers and click Properties then use the drag down menu to select the A-250 Wireless Speakers.
You will then have the normal sound going through the main speakers and the music through the A-250.
