Developed using customer feedback from our previous award-winning X36 and X45 stick and throttle controllers, the X52 Flight System is the premium stick model outside our Pro Flight Range.
Featuring 23 buttons, three 8-way hat switches and 7 control axes, the X52 gives you 47 basic commands plus the control axes. But when you include the programming options provided by powerful Saitek Smart Technology programming software, which allows you to make use of the 3 position mode switch and Pinkie shift switch, the total number of programmable commands rises to 282!
And if this isn’t enough, you can program even more commands by adding more modes with the programming software. With the X52, you no longer need to touch your PC keyboard during flight simulation so you can keep your hands planted where they need to be – on the stick and throttle.
With all those commands, things could get confusing so you can use the Multi-Function Display (MFD) screen to check programmed command names and use the clock and stopwatch function for timing the legs of your flight plan.
The X52 also uses magnetic hall effect, non-contact sensors for the stick movement, so you won’t ever need to worry about employing a ground crew for regular services.
Connectivity: USB 2.0
Windows XP, XP64 and Windows Vista (all versions)
This product is fully compatible with Windows Vista. However, the SST software and drivers on the accompanying disc will only work on XP. If you are using Vista the latest drivers and SST software can be downloaded from our Drivers and Software section.

The most obvious, eye catching and astounding feature of the throttle component is the two inch square LCD panel in the bottom right corner of the base, following with the blue LED theme the panel lights up in a delicious cold blue almost begging you to turn out the lights and stand in awe of the X-52 (having previously applied duck tape to avoid bending down and picking up ones jaw). The panel displays the current mode that the X-52 is in as well as the time, date and the current profile you are using. A clutch button is included on the throttle, which allows you to switch profile on the fly and also view the function of any button you press.

Bristling with functionality, both the joystick and throttle units are covered in sliders, wheels, POV hats and buttons, all placed with the delicate care for comfort and customisation that PC gamers have come to depend on from Saitek products. What results is a supremely capable control system that can be moulded to the user's own preferences like no other device on the market, offering support for all PC flight simulation titles thanks to its superb programming utilities.
