"S-Turn"

It’s time to start learning some basic maneuvers. In today’s episode Chris Palmer from Angle of Attack demonstrates S-Turns, or Snake Turns. For this exercise he picks a long, straight road to use as reference as he alternates left and right turns, always crossing the road perpendicularly and always while maintaining altitude. He’ll also show how no two turns are exactly the same: a pilot must always correct for wind variances during this maneuver.

Due to the restrictions on YouTube this week’s video is only viewable on the Angle of Attack website. It’s still free though.
