Batteries Request

The P3000 batteries are suffering from a mismatch in charging that is not really the chargers fault.  There are 2 individual batteries inside each of the 2 P3000 cells and they can get out of sync (with respect to charging). If you can balance it out then you will have no problem.

The reason why you see a green light is because one of the batteries is fully charged and the other isn't - they aren't in series or parallel. One takes care of the wireless signal and the other takes care of the digital display.  You tend to find you might have a signal but no display - or a display but no signal.  You need to drain both batteries in the cell before charging, because when one is fully charged then the unit will stop charging which can leave one battery still dry.

Also try cleaning the contacts of the batteries and the charger with a swab and some isopropanol/methanol

If you require 2 spare batteries then you can email service.technique@saitek-fr.com using this template (copy and paste in to the email client) as we have some spare Batteries at our return centres:
